Fortune!

So this is 300. As luck would have it, a fine day, and even better, my day off. This is what I was looking at while eating my lunch, up high on Simon's Seat. Simply breathtaking. So fortunate to live where I do.
A gentle walk as befits recovering feet. So much wildlife, hawkmoth caterpillars, woodpecker, vole, unidentified quacking bird startled away from it's stripy chick huddled in the grass. We paddled at the bottom of a stunning waterfall, saw a myriad of gorgeous wild flowers and at the end of the day found a huge Chicken of the Woods fungus, which turned out to be delicious. So a day that ticked all the boxes.
