Old Log Pile in the Woods

Walked to the log cabin today to take a look at the beaver pond. All quiet, it was probably too early for the beavers. A little bit of walking off piste led me to a new beaver pond - no beavers here either, but there was an extended family of wood ducks on the far side so far that I didn't even spook them. Nice to see, will pay it a morning visit in the near future.
