The field was shorn a couple of days ago. I missed the combine harvester, dammit. A film of chaff scattered over the garden.

Shook the apple tree to start the harvest. Looking forward to trying my hand at brewing for the first time, with some expert help.

A quiet night in with Lesley and nice bottle of red awaits, with some
 homework on 4 back leaves. Heading off to Kelvingrove tomorrow for three full days of competition. Make hay while the sun shines, as they say.
