Hallway Solutions

This is the hallway where I teach on campus. Classrooms on one side, big gorgeous windows with a view on the quad on the other.

I've never been able to get the photo I wanted of it because the windows white-out in a normal shot.



Enter my newly acquired knowledge of HDR...ta da! Hallway and quad all perfectly lit (in spite of the heatwave outside).

(I'm having fun with this now...I can see how people get hooked on this technique.)

My dining room in the afternoon (heatwave) sun...

Summer session students in the library (better than outside in this heatwave)...

Oh, and did I mention....HEATWAVE!?! Ugh...
