Water Turkey

The Anhinga bird is also known as the Water Turkey because of it's swimming habits and broad tail. I would also say their grunting also sounds a little like the wild turkey. I invaded it's space a little to take this photo and the Anhinga grunted a warning and flew off. It was a very rewarding walk as I saw many Herons, Egrets, Ospreys, and spoonbills.
