Evening light on Black Haggs Rigg

Another early evening outing in search of sea trout - this time to Hethpool on the College Burn. We walked a short stretch of St Cuthbert's way to Hethpool falls and did, indeed, see several sea trout jumping upstream (and some being washed back again by the force of the water). But they were too fast (or I was too slow), and it was a bit too dark by the burn, so no photos of them. A nice walk though.

Back to the flat for MrM's homemade prawn jalfrezi (too much chilli for me, so a modest portion!) and cider.

Had hoped to finish preparing the wall in the courtyard ready for painting - it's forecast to be a nice weekend. But no time this evening - thwarted again...
