A red letter day

A trip to Buckingham Palace to see the State Apartments with old work colleagues today. I’ve been once before, when the Palace was first open to visitors and to a Garden Party, but it was still was a fascinating experience.

We had lunch in the garden and did our usual chit chat catching up on the news.

Celebrations are in order as we have completed the sale on our old house. It took 17 weeks from accepting our buyers offer, to this end point. Searches in some parts of the country are horrendously slow, but it is all behind us now!
