Pepper Pot Under Restoration

See this post for how the Pepper Pot looked until recently plus a write up on its history. Very surprised this visit to find it is being reconstructed! Using a Heritage Lottery grant, Sedbergh Public School (I.E. private school) are paying for the building work. On completion the downstairs will be a public exhibition space and upstairs will be a viewing gallery for people to enjoy the local scenery.
