A moment to stop

We sat in the pub at lunchtime and watched the black clouds circle the pub. In the afternoon, the rains came - this leaf shows the effects of the rain :-)

Its the start of the rugby world cup and my friend Sarah from Ireland chose to land at 8pm - I went to collect her but as she was delayed, managed to miss the whole of the match! At least England won!!!

Our evening ended in a wine bar in Ashtead which was just a cafe - they are now licensed and trying to expand their clientele. We had a lovely set of snacks and great wine. Good to catch up with Sarah!
