Chili Peppers on the terrace

Here in Hong Kong we use chili peppers a lot - I mean A LOT.  And even though they are one of the few inexpensive items to purchase at the market here, we've still decided to grow them on our terrace (so far the birds have left them alone).  Surprisingly they begin with lovely white florets.  I cooked with our first one yesterday - YUM!
