Daffodils

It felt like half a lifetime since I've been in to town.  How great to see this sea of daffodils in full bloom brightening up the drive in.  Quite a sight.

Began the day early watching the opening Rugby World Cup match England v Fiji.  I thought Fiji might upset the hosts but it wasn't to be.  Actually, it was a pretty dull match which England only really sealed in the last part of the match.  Hoping the All Blacks add some pizzazz to the event when they play Argentina in the early hours of Monday morning.

Did a little shopping today - with paying guests due in a few weeks I thought it timely to buy some new linen.  Thankfully, Briscoes had a sale on ;)  A little weed-pulling in the late afternoon, supermarket shopping and a lot of sitting and relaxing.  It feels great to have got through the past month or so which has been pretty full on.  I'm beginning to feel the holiday vibe........just a week to go :)
