Sunrise, Maricopa Point, Grand Canyon

A final full day in the USA.  We are travelling to Las Vegas for our flights home.  I woke up well before sunrise and walked out to the rim trail to see the sunrise.  I wasn't alone.  Although there were many less people around compared to the sunset I watched three people head down the Bridal Angel Trail to reach the Colorado River, 1350 metres below.

This has been a fantastic trip, so many iconic locations have been visited.  I would recommend it to anyone and John will be organising another trip in 2017.

Thank you for all of your responses to the images.  I'm sorry I haven't had time to respond as yet; the programme is so full that there is very limited opportunity to download and process many images, let alone do anything else.  I'm just chuffed to have been able to find enough time to post.
