Autumn approaches

Stealthily, the autumn fairy dusts the colours onto leaves that had been green since spring...

A busy day with little chance to blip. We returned miss to Manchester today, courtesy of the M5 and M6 and just over six hours of time... of course, tomorrow there will be another six hours back - ah well...

Autumn is my favourite season though, and the shifting colours on the trees around here are already moving towards the golden end of the spectrum. The woods smell of mushroom and damp decay.
