Classic cars galore!

As part of Angoulême's weekend of classic car racing and rallies, I went to a nearby town, Aigre, the northernmost part of today's rally and waited (not very long) for the classic beasts to start arriving. I had a nice chat and shared car memories with a lovely french  chap who had owned 2 triumph cars in the 60s and a austin healey frogeye.

I have lots of photos but on quick inspection I like this one (a classic Alpine, not sure of the model) and on extras a car I don't know and a classic bike-the rider seemed to be enjoying his bike.

Off out tonight with the camera club to an exhibtion/drink/nibbles...hope the weather holds!
