Don't Be Scared...

Yes. Welcome to my makeup collection, I've been collecting since my Freshman year in high school and it's been growing ever since. This is only about like...1/14 of my whole collection lol. So that's about what, 7%? haha, yeah crazy right?
People freak out about girls wearing a ton of makeup, but seriously, we're in high school, girls at this stage are figuring out what works for their image and what doesn't. Doesn't necessarily mean that they're insecure about themselves right? But yes, I like how guys appreciate the natural beauty look - at least most of the guys I know. And I do agree, those girls who cake their faces with bronzer and blush and...I don't know, a ton of heavy dark eyeliner gets a bit scary. As they say, makeup should accentuate a girl's features, not cover it up.
Anyways, I enjoy the cosmetic part of makeup a lot. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, makeup that is, I freak out over blushes, and the creaminess of concealers. I've goggled over plenty of eyeliners (cream, gel, liquid, pencil, powder, you name it). And oh, my ultimate weakness, eyeshadows. And every single type that is. Oh but wait, I forgot about makeup brushes...lol that might be the worst part.
The cosmetic world is actually quite the lucrative business, the high-end beauty lines can get quite pricey, like today, I spent over $50 on two items at Sephora. But believe me, it was worth it, and it was my own money!
I'm not exactly a girl who wears a ton of makeup anyways, I get really lazy in the mornings. But, it's fun, I enjoy it, and it's an art in some way, shape or form.
Anyways, my summer has been quite enjoyable and lazy so far. I've watched and finished five movies (all of them romantic comedies...well almost all of them), and I have to say, The Proposal has probably become my most famous movie of all time. I mean, it shouldn't be, but there's just something about Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds in the same movie. Wow Ryan Reynolds is one hunky man...(fangirl moment).
This is getting quite long actually...lol. I think I'm going to go finish The Proposal for the 6th time, g'night!
