Because it's there

Mr DawnAgain is a very experienced (armchair) mountaineer, having read many people's autobiographies and watched various television and film accounts of the annual Everest expeditions and the like,  including the Everest: Beyond Belief documentary/'reality TV' series which I watched too and found to be surprisingly gripping.  And so it was that we went to see Everest in IMAX/3D today and it was excellent: great story and amazing cinematography. The more I learn about mountaineers the more I understand a little about what compels them to risk life and limb the way they do - and the more I realise that I will NEVER be joining them!
