The Playa by night

So many aspects of this festival are amazing - it's hard to select a favorite. But the Playa (the large open space adjacent to the city) by night is absolutely on the top of my list. It's indescribable, impossible to catch both in image and words, but here is my attempt. Imagine a desert plain, pitch dark, but illuminated with hunderds (thousands?) of illuminated bikes, people, weird ('mutant') vehicles - some of them spitting or spinning fire. Music from all directions...I could just walk here all night. Just watching it, Just experiencing it. 

Tonight we also witnessed our first burn, preceded by spectacular fire works, one of the temples was burned. See extra picture for an impression.
