Bridge over troubled water

This is ponte pietra (bridge) in Verona. The bridge was destroyed by the retreating german army at the end of the 2nd WW but rebuilt from the existing materials, the first part of the bridge is roman in origin. Verona is beautiful, i loved it there. The arena is stunning.
