Rhone Valley in Patchwork

... as we descended through the vinyards from Verschiez crags this afternoon. We then had to rush up the mountain for a wedding blessing which did not happen as it poured with rain but on the way up I had to screech the car to a halt. The cows were coming down from the upper alps, all dressed up with their huge "dress" bells and the traditional milking stool upside down on their heads, all decorated in flowers.
