The Lingonberry “Sylt” Factory

Sylt = sauce in English, think Cranberry sauce for any British or American readers.
Today we picked a lot of lingonberries in about 90 minutes. After cleaning away all the bits of forest there were 10 litres.
This means we picked twice as much lingon in 90 minutes than we did last year in three afternoons of picking!
I cleaned the berries and Jan produced the sauce. So now we are the proud possessors of 30 jars of lingonberry, which should be enough for a dollop on our breakfast cereals for the next year.
Then again there's so many berries out there maybe we should do another lot!
