Joey, the sleepy ferret

I had always thought that ferrets would bite you at the first opportunity, but this afternoon at the Country Fair in Driffield I held one! He was quite cuddly, seven years old and had never bitten anyone! Apparently they just like to sleep, except when rabbits are around I suppose.

There were a lot of stalls supporting animal charities, I find I am now a member of the Dogs Trust, have vaguely promised to house a retired greyhound and bought raffle tickets for a donkey charity and Riding for the Disabled.

The good news is that I now have enough car stickers to be able to identify my car in a crowded car park!!
