BiZee Day!

Had a really late start after last night's fun... think 10am! :D

G went off for a volunteers' training session to help with young children at church and I decided to tackle the most pressing bits of the ironing (!); you know - work stuff etc. SweetArt did what she could to help.

We then went to a restaurant that is new to us, but SweetArt had visited in Chicago and was raving about their very thick pizzas, and as she noticed their outlet in Dubai, we had to check it out, so the food parts of this collage relate to that. I was going to order sparkling water to drink until the waiter said they served Pepsi, so the drinks are iced tea for G and the other for me. I can't get over the size of the portions.

We then headed to Galeries Lafayette to check out the KitchenAid Pasta maker, and the music shop happened to be on the way and G is now the very proud owner of an ukelele!!! [Not the one she is holding in the picture].

We then called in at Mercato to buy said pasta maker and then went to visit our aunt and uncle and cousins in Dubai (see family picture). And lastly, we went across town to Festival City to change a pair of shoes for SweetArt, and whilst there, walked past a couple of stalls which we haven't seen before. SYL do some very interesting and creative jewellery and I couldn't help blipping it.

And lastly, (yes there's more), we actually popped into Ikea to get a bookcase to finish Gs project of tidying up the corridor. I had beds to make too when I got back at 10pm, and it is a new work week tomorrow despite the Ruler losing his eldest son to a heart attack. :(
