Durham Cathedral

I first visited Durham Cathedral when I was about 10 and will never forget the impression it made on me. An immense awesome sttucture built over 900 years ago to the glory of God with only the human hand, possibly some horse or mule power and basic engineering.
Today I went for evensong at 5.15 and was not disappointed. The choir sang 4 Psalms, there were readings from bible with the words from the Book of Common Prayer. All this brought encouragement and challenge to me.
