Barnstaple Fair

Today was Barnstaple Carnival Day and the last night of the fun fair. I did not go to the fair itself, but on walking along the river Taw on the opposite bank did see some of the lit up rides swinging around; how anyone wants to go on these amazes me. Makes me queasy watching from afar as they swirl, swing, bounce etc.....but from the squeals and screams it sounds as if fun was being had!
