Exhibition Gmünd

A cold start this morning gave way to a warm sunny day for the exhibition in town. Here you can see the sun streaming through the windows of the lovely Palmenhaus (conservatory) which used to belong to the castle next door. It is now an event venue and is under historical protection. Trade was pretty slow except for this afternoon when they put on a belly dancing display and some live music. These venues always have a bar attached so coffee and cake and a couple of glasses of wine helped the day pass. The extras show the facade of the building and my paintings. I didn't sell any but neither did the other painters!
