Spring racing

The spring racing carnival is under way and when the wind is blowing in the right direction I can hear the races being called, as I did yesterday. Local residents are allowed onto the track on non-racing days. There were no horses being worked out - I had left it too late and I'm not sure photographing race horses as they're put through their paces is allowed.
