Barn Dance

Tonight was the Olsons' big barbeque and barn dance....boot-scootin' to the tunes of "Who Dat", a great band that covers songs from the '50s and '60s and some fine country and western. The day heated back up to the high 70sF....perfect! So it was time to slip into a fine western styled shirt, some bedazzled jeans and pull on the dancing cowboy-boots. Tables groaned with barbequed pig, chicken, beef dogs, salads, corn and then desserts. Beer and wine flowed freely and the night was met with voices raised in old familiar songs. I swear, I can still hear them singing clear across the valley.
