Happy Birthday Sunset

It would be a happy birthday to my Dad today. He died many years ago and would be a grumpy, very old man if he was alive now!!

I was going to blip something related to my Dad today but hadn't done so.

I was driving home this afternoon and saw the beautiful sunset. I knew I couldn't get home on time to catch it or to go to one of the many lookouts that would have given me a great blip. So I stopped on the side of the Highway and took this one.

Blipping the sunset reminded me of my Dad. He was a keen photographer all his adult life and we regularly chased photos. I remembered the late afternoons when we would drive to the lookouts on the west side of town and wait for the perfect sunset photo. I still have many of his slides.

Happy birthday Dad!!!
