Good to be out

I don't suppose we will get many more days like this, warm enough to sit around without a coat and no wind to speak of.  I had a nice jog up from Seathwaite and onto Esk Pike and then back over Great End, dropping down to Sty head before returning to my car.
This was the view down over Sprinkling Tarn from Great End, a lovely quiet spot out of the way of all the pilgrims making their way up to the Pike.
I exchanged greetings with a young couple as they were coming up a steep bit and they advised caution as it was "a bit rough and the rocks move under your feet" - I must be starting to look a bit old and frail!
