The Black Swan

CCN and I had a wonderful day on the Swan River today with my brother and sister-in-law and my niece and great niece.  Wow that makes me feel old!!  My brother's boat is called the "Black Swan" and it's pride and joy.   The boat has quite a history as it was the tender for the yacht Australia II - quite famous for winning the America's Cup in Rhode Island in 1983.

It really is a magnificent vessel and we really enjoyed our trip from it's mooring to the waters just south of the central business district of Perth City.  It was a very lazy day on the water and we left just in time to catch up with Ninniex and Big Brother Allan 46 in Cottesloe.  We were meeting to organise a Perth Blip Meet and we'll be in touch with you all in the next couple of days to let you know the details.  Just keep Sunday morning the 11th of October free, whatever you do.  More details to follow.  Please email me at barb.wall@bigpond.com if you think I don't have your email address.  Oh and by the way Jen, we did say a cheerio to you :-))
