What The Flip?

I've noticed this technique in the opening titles of a couple of detective shows.

The american series Bosch has some amazing mirrored photography of LA in the title sequence, while Swedish series Beck uses the same technique to great effect to showcase Stockholm.  Both use night photography.

One evening, I'll get out for some city light shots, but in the meantime I thought I would give it a go.
