Sunday Funday
Today we had an epic day. The weather was so awesome when we woke up that Gina suggested that we head to the beach. Instead of heading to our regulars, we went to Williamstown on the other side of Melbourne. I've only been there once in the nearly 5 years we've lived here and we loved it.
Miles may have had the best day ever with it encompassing 4 different parks, a number of occasions where he could chase seagulls (one of his all-time favourite activities), a hotdog from the market stand, a man playing the guitar and singing in the bandstand, a brass trio (trumpet, trombone and tuba) just playing out in the sunshine for no reason other than 'why not', then a babycino, some of my chocolate milkshake, some books, then to the beach and lots of digging in the sand with his spade, playing in the sea, the arrival of Faye and Lewis (his favourite person ever) and some of our other friends, then fish fingers for dinner.
Note that there was no nap in there... one tired by happy boy went to bed tonight!
It was a brilliant day with the family, and it got us all excited about what Summer will bring again as everyone comes out of hibernation. It was great to be out of the house too, meaning that there was nothing that we could do in there (although I'd be lying if we hadn't been talking about the Master Plan that MrRosewarne suggested to me yesterday!).
I'll add another couple of shots that I toyed with for the main blip too.
