Bonnie, blue bloom!

This pretty gentian is still in its plastic container from the garden centre. The planting instructions specify well drained soil .... so the plant is NOT for my garden!  The soil in the garden of the house in Fife is ideal - it's very sandy with NO lumps of clay.  L and I are going through to Elie next weekend so the wee plant will be bedded in then.
