Simone and the Soul Intentions at the Fall Fair

We had a great day at the Fall Fair!   It was pouring in the morning and we thought we'd go anyway, but by the time we got to the fair grounds, the rain stopped and held off for the rest of the day.  Cloudy but quite warm, perfect for taking in all the booths and demonstrations.  It was great to see fellow Salt Spring blipper Bob (in extra) and listen to his interesting presentation on taking snapshots.  We enjoyed the usual variety of super Salt Spring musicians, including the fabulous Simone and the Soul Intentions.  Other amazing talent from the island, including Suzanne Little and Tom Hooper (from the Canadian rock band The Grapes of Wrath),  Duck Creak, and Brent Shindell performed as well.  A wonderful relaxing day on Salt Spring!
