Tempted As I Was To Leave Him Waiting For 2 Hours.

Today started with a mercy dash into York today as Eldest, who had been at a party with his new schoolmates, had got the bus times wrong and the 9.30am bus home actually wasn't due til 11.20...tempted as I was to leave him waiting for nearly two hours...

It was a sunny morning and Johnny and I went out to play deciding to hack rather than school today, although we will be stepping up the schooling exercises this week ready for our Team Quest Regional Finals next Saturday...we enjoyed the fresh air and the increased riding areas whilst the fields are still stubble, it won't be long until they are ploughed and planted and we are left to the roads and bridlepaths again.

The neighbours paddock outside our back door has become overgrown and a haven for all things arachnid and in the morning misty sunlight is like a sea of jewels.
