Cavtat - Day 3

Off on a boat to Dubrovnik today. Last year when I did the trip between Dubrovnik and Cavtat, it was a smooth, easy crossing. Today, we went out on a decent sized boat, which meant it went into open sea, which meant that it rolled and pitched. The rolling was fine, the pitching - less so. I don't fear dying, but I'm not keen on exiting this world through the medium of drowning and all 3 of us were genuinely concerned a few times.

As remembered from last year, the Old Town was hot, overcrowded and impossibly beautiful. We didn't stay long - retreating back to the quiet and slower pace of Cavtat after a quick wander and a nice lunch. The boat trip back was better in that the constant soaking from the sea spray distracted us all from the prospect of capsizing.
