Allotment Day

Me and my daughter went to Regents Park in the afternoon to the allotments in Regents Park as they had an Open Day.  We were allowed to go around and see what they had grown and we were given free organic home-made pizza with produce from their veggie garden.  We quite enjoyed it and I was surprised how much I still remembered from my own allotment days.  There were plenty of volunteer helpers on hand to ask questions.  Afterwards we went to the riverside to have a look at the Four Horsemen that are situated just off the Albert Embankment in the Thames.  It was full tide however and they were almost covered up so we decided to go back tomorrow at low tide (which we looked up first) so hopefully pictures of them tomorrow.
Lovely weather for mid-September and almost the Autumn Equinox.
