On The Humber

We have been down to Hull for the weekend to visit some old university friends.  It is 30 years since I studied at Hull, and so time for a re-union.  Hull was looking fabby, the sun was shining and all my friends were in fine form.  This shot is taken just opposite a pub where we spent a good amount of time...
I have put an extra shot of a statue of Phillip Larkin at the rail station.  He was the head librarian at Hull University while we were there, we saw him most days ambling slowly towards the library building.
