Downpour

I felt awful today; the effects of yesterday; both physically with my leg, and emotionally wore me down. I had also had a tetanus jab on Wednesday, and felt groggy, achey and flu-like; classic tetanus jab side-effects. I had a long day in the office, followed by a meeting up in Stanway. I had to get the bus as I wasn't able to drive with my leg, which was a nice novelty, but slightly spoilt by the torrential rain. I couldn't get home soon enough to change in to joggers and cook a meal for some friends who came over to watch the opening rugby match. I'm feeling extra-glad for the weekend!
