Blupp

Last week's cider is bubbling away nicely on the worktop and today's substantially bigger batch, half scored from two trees owned by the Dad of a blipper and the other half from the garden, is waiting while the campden tablets to do their biological scorched earth trick.

So, a busy day and maybe an unconventional use for the garden shredder to partially chop the apples before the insinkerator does the heavy pulping. But 27 litres of juice.

And the experimental beer of two weeks ago as now been racked twice to get of most of the yeast before sticking it in the fridge for a week or two in the hope that it completely clears. Had a wee taste. Unexpectedly lovely.

Unfortunately all that didn't leave enough time to get the box sanding finished or to get the new tyres on the bike.
