Rainy day blip
I wasn't brave enough to venture out into the relentless rain today on a photographic foray (and it was so dark, cold and gloomy anyway....) So instead I used an angle poise lamp and sat my paperweight on a mirror.
I did make the paperweight, so I don't feel it's too much of a photograph just for the sake of a photograph. I had a lot of help from the nice people at Healesville Glass Blowing Studio, as I know nothing about making glass.
The only consolation with this cold wet stuff is that if it's like this in Melbourne, it means snow in the mountains! Last year was a snow washout, so I'm really hoping Lake Mountain has decent snow this year, so that we can go XC skiing. But not in the school holidays - way too busy for my liking.
