Big Snail

This rather lovely snail was gliding along the side of our rental house on Chincoteague this morning when we got back from our dog walking. We then packed the car, cleaned up the house, and drove back home. There was a rather lengthy delay just before we reached Charlottesville - caused by a nasty accident that seemed to have involved a tractor trailer and a car. I hope no one was badly injured - much less killed - but I don't know if we'll ever know.

Anyway - we're now safely back in our nest and going to get back to *normal* as soon as we possibly can. I hope to get back to commenting soon! Right now I'm woefully behind.
