A feathery visitor

These western blue birds have been fluttering and floating all around this house but never stayed still long enough for a photo..until this morning.  This one and its mate sat on the deck rails for about five minutes..watching the dog walk around.  I stood inside and shoot through the opening of the sliding glass door.   

It was a good start to the day!
