Plaques

These plaques sit on an ordinary terraced house  down a wee side street.  They are thought to mark the coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra.

After a bit of digging I found out this was once the main road out of town and use to have a Dominican Priory there from 13th century but there is no sign of it or marker left anymore.

A few streets along we have Blackfriars Street, could this be linked I wonder.
