All tied up...
Rain, rain ,go to Spain. Whole water for a while this morning. Sent 2 away to make a start hauling wheat bales home. Filled more oats into bins then a lorry in with mineral tubs for the sheep. A shortage of tractors with loaders,so used the old digger to unload them. By the time I had run next door with them and back again the engine had boiled up nicely. And judging by the black reek coming out the exhaust,I could have been mistaken for the steam train on the Borders Railway.
A lorry in for barley again,so had to go to another kindly neighbour and scrounge their telehandler to load it. Unfortunately there was a problem with an engine sensor, and it kept going into reduced power,so every time I came to a hill it was down to an 8Kmh crawl.
The sun came out tonight just to add insult to injury,so went away to check the away from home cattle.
These ratchet straps are the fine line between a load making it home or falling off at the first bend (most of the time ! )
