Mono Monday 86 : Grunge

My Grunge photo for today is the Grunge band :  Nirvana .   (  I did NOT take this photo personally. I took it on line).       when you think of Grunge you automatically think of Seattle and grunge bands from the 80's.   Grunge music spread to California and other parts of the US in the early 1990's.     Nirvana and Pearl Jam were the top bands.       The music is characterized by sludgy guitar sound that uses a high level of distortion, fuzz and feedback effects.    They fuse elements of hardcore punk and heavy metal.    slower tempo and dissonant harmonies, and more complex instrumentation.         that is enough info for me and probably for you also!!    Hope your week is great.   thanks for all the great feed back!!
