the "death' Border

The far south side of my front yard with its punishing conditions of sun all day, little water, reflected heat from the street and the not so generous roots of a Juniper tree that tends to suck up any drop of water present. Red Zauchenaria arizonica,  pink Aster 'Dream of Beauty' yellow Zinnai grandiflora, and Yuccas create a a colorful late summer tapestry.
