Aqua marine ring

This ring is one of a set.  My sister has the other ring and if you saw them side by side you would realise how tiny this stone is.  These rings belonged to my grandmother, so they are now also antique rings.  I wear this ring just about everyday.  Funny even afterall these years I still miss her.  In many ways she was my mentor, a proud Scott and a great lady.  She ran a pub in Northenden in England and travelled a lot, not a thing young ladies did back then.  I remember a portrait of her  that hung in her formal dining room, her beautiful red hair came down past her waist and she was actually sitting on her hair.  I remember her with grey hair worn in a plaited bun.  I would occasionally stay overnight with her and then I would get to see her hair loose, although grey it was still beautiful.  So many precious memories of this wonderful lady.
