As I drew the curtains at 7.00am this lovely sunrise greeted me. A sunrise or a sunset is a rarity for me and I don't often do compilations now but today I wanted show how the sun quickly disappeared in to the clouds in the inset.

I had an early appointment in the next village and as I returned the sun was coming through again and highlighting the mist hovering further down the valley. It soon turned into a glorious day.

It doesn't matter what season it is if we have lovely days and blue skies like today!
