Spider!

I spotted this spider and huge web on a flower bed at one of the entrances to the village - and stopped to take a shot.

I did take a close up of it but I quite liked this wider shot showing the size of the web - also like the way the web has been picked out against the dark wall behind.

On our walk this afternoon we walked across a field that has been stocked with sheep since we last went there. At first the sheep ran away from me and the dogs - but as crossed the began to approach us and started to circle us - they were like a plague of zombies! When we left the field they came quite close and just stood and stared at us - a shot is included in the extras. On the way back they weren't quite so intimidating! The dogs were on their leads and they behaved impeccably - no barking or jumping!
